- Conduct data studies to evaluate customer performance and apply critical thinking to assess, identify options, and make outcome-based recommendations.
- Tell powerful stories from extracted and researched data to our enterprise customers using a variety of visual aids, interactive dashboards, and/or written reports.
- Examine data to identify trends, exceptions, and areas for further investigation.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders both orally and in writing, to translate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of systematic processes to help the team scale efficiently.
- Experience in gathering, cleaning, researching, and reporting on data; including a demonstrated ability to identify appropriate statistical review for large datasets, visualization of the data, and measurement goals.
- 2+ years doing reporting and data review
- 2+ years experience or equivalent working with relational databases in a SQL environment
- 2+ years experience or equivalent creating and presenting reports using a Business Intelligence tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Looker, etc.
- Proficient in MS Excel; able to perform pivot tables, pivot charts, and advanced functions in MS Excel and other visualization tools
- Strong problem solving ability and is able to reasonably scan, identify root causes and provide effective solutions with a high level of detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work within a team environment.
- Ability to work in a customer-oriented, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bonus: experience working with a scripting language such as Python or R in a combination of professional and/or self-taught environment.
- Bachelor degree in Business with a quantitative specialization, bachelor degree in a quantitative area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
